Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective July 13, 2026
In plain English
Don't use Owlsight to break the law, harm people, or wreck it for everyone else.
This applies to everyone using the Owlsight platform. It is short because it should be obvious.
Don't
- Break the law, or help someone else break it.
- Send messages to people who have not consented, or who have opted out. This is the big one — see our SMS Terms.
- Send spam, phishing, or anything deceptive.
- Upload malware, or attempt to compromise the platform or another customer's system.
- Probe, scan or load-test our infrastructure without written permission.
- Reverse-engineer the platform, or use it to build a competing product.
- Resell or sublicense access without our agreement.
- Upload content you don't have the right to use.
- Harass anyone, or use the platform to discriminate unlawfully.
- Use location tracking to monitor an employee who is not clocked in, or who has not consented on their device. The platform is built to prevent this; don't go looking for a way around it.
If you do
We may suspend or terminate access. Where something puts other customers or the public at immediate risk, we may act first and discuss it afterwards — but we will tell you what we did and why.
Reporting
If you see something being done with Owlsight that shouldn't be, email hello@owlsight.app.
Something here unclear, or wrong? Tell us — we would rather fix it than have you agree to something you didn't understand. Get in touch.
